Embroidered marquisette dress, c. 1910  --  The layers of this magnificent dress are covered with embroidery and lace insertion, and set off with a black velvet ribbon belt. It bears a label: “Mrs. DeWitt / 5 W. 31st St., N.Y.” It was worn by Cornelia Witsell Farrow Roebling (1866-1942).
